Fira Modernista 2025: A Weekend of Style, History and Modernism in Barcelona

In the heart of Barcelona, on June 7, 8 and 9, a new edition of the Fira Modernista 2025 took place—an homage to the artistic and cultural richness of the modernist movement that transformed our city at the end of the 19th century. And this year, Charlie’s Properties had the pleasure of being part of this unforgettable experience.

What is the Fira Modernista?

Held every year in the Eixample district, the Fira Modernista is a public event that celebrates the legacy of Antoni Gaudí and other key figures of Catalan Modernism. For three days, the streets come alive with parades, music, workshops, exhibitions, and people dressed in period costume, recreating the atmosphere of early 20th-century Barcelona.

June 10: World Art Nouveau Day

The fair coincides with World Art Nouveau Day, observed on June 10 to commemorate the passing of renowned architects Gaudí and Ödön Lechner. Around the globe, cities with Modernist heritage hold special activities to honor this artistic movement that blends nature, technology, and creativity in a uniquely expressive way.

Charlie’s Properties at the Fira Modernista

Right in front of Casa de les Punxes, one of Barcelona’s most iconic Modernist landmarks, we set up our stand to showcase a real estate concept full of character, inspiration, and elegance.

Throughout the weekend, locals, architecture enthusiasts, and passersby stopped by to discover our approach: presenting homes with soul, while honoring history, beauty, and individuality.
